To all who are about to read this you can’t be mad because I haven't sent the site to anyone yet.
I am recommitting to posting on my blog. I think that I will try to do it once a week. If I have a few free minutes at work, I will try to maybe do it more then once. On to the important stuff that is going on in T and L land are.......
Theral is reading the Harry Potter series and is in book 7. He has his little moments of frustration at the book that I find really funny and cute. But of course I know what is going to happen and when he comes up with a wrong theory, I just smile and encourage, but laughing secretly to myself about it. One of the more amusing parts is him just laughing at the characters in the book. I keep hearing him laugh while he is reading and it is really amusing to watch. (One of my pet peeves is he get mad about any spoilers that I talk about with people on the phone or in person so it is very good that he is getting close to the end!)
Today was hat day at Theral's High school. He took that hat that he is absoultly in love with and freaks out if anything happens to it to wear. I told him not to be upset in the children make fun of him. I will post a Pic of him in the hat. He looks good in it but I didn't think it was hat day material. Oh, ya..... Theral hasn't cut his hair in forever and I think it is totally sexy. This is the longest that he has ever had it in his life.
Theral commented to one of his co-workers (the assistant principal) that he was looking a little jaundice. He then goes home to his wife and says, "Mikesell said I looked a little jaundice." His wife who is a nurse agree and got him a appointment the next day. Turns out it was hepatitis A which he pick up while he was in Mexico this summer.
On to news of me. I got my blood work back this week. Everything looks fine except that my thyroid looks as if it might have started to die on me. I’m in the early phase of developing hypothyroidism. I’m on some meds and we will see how that turns out in around six weeks. I did realize that I don’t have blood taken from my body very well. I started to feel faint, dizzy, light headed and clammy and that is before they put the rubber band on my arm to make my veins pop out to get blood. But I was strong and persevered by not looking and practicing my yoga breathing.
Last weekend we went rafting in Jackson on the Snake. We went with some neighbor of ours, the Hills. It was fun. I love rafting. There are some photos on a website of us going through a rapid by a private company. I will post link to that later.
