So last week we had are friend Clint stay with us Thursday and Friday night. His bother lives in town but his wife doesn’t like him for some reason. So when he is in town he stays with Theral and I. Clint has a way of interrupting our schedule. But it was fun having him around. Friday we went to the Warren Miller show. I love seeing people ski/board big mountains because not everyone can do it and it also takes a lot of skill. The movie was like 80 to 90 percent jibbing and people hucking off stuff and landing. Very few people turning and showing skills, in my opinions an idiot can huck and land in powder. Also so a ton of underwear was shown, boys doing trick and the only thing covering there hinny (aka butt) is underwear. I have decided when I have a child and if they wear pants so low that their underwear is the only thing coving vital parts bye bye underwear. It will go down in a flaming ball of glory and my child can wear their pants correct or show the world the goods. Let’s talk about decency people…
So Saturday I had training thing at Snowbasin. Theral went for a bike ride while I got the 411 on ski instructing this year. I got done early because HR could not come and so I have to go up again to take care of that stuff. I ended up waiting for Theral for two hours. Good think I love him because my patience’s was getting really thin. We then went and visited Loveina and Sean. They fed us and we had a nice little chat with them. Baby Lenna is at a really cute stage. It was fun to get her to giggle and laugh.
Sunday our Primary class was in fine form. I had to be a mean disciplinary to get them to behave. Theral is meaner then me and I was the meanest that I have ever been. What do you expect when you have little boys that are extremely wound up and in a confined space and sitting next to each other? Angels. I don’t think so.
Monday was Theral 31st Birthday. We got a wakeup call from his bother Mike in the morning. As we were watching Hero’s (seriously what a cool TV show) my parents called and wished him Happy Birthday. My Dad sang to him and it was entertaining. I have yet to get him a present. It is not for lack of ideas but Theral’s inability to make a choice. Theral did move the raft from the garage into the house for the winter. They say it is better for them to be in a stable temperature. What I really want is a smaller raft and all the trimmings.
We found out yesterday that Theral niece Lauren is getting married. She is Mike and Jenny’s daughter. She graduated from high school this past May and is getting married December 28. Her fiancée has returned from his mission within the last six months. I think that she should have a cupcake wedding cake. I would make those cupcakes for her. I love cupcakes.
